Lime nitrogen, also known as calcium cyanamide, generally contains about 20%~22% of nitrogen in lime nitrogen. Lime nitrogen was a good fertilizer with great application value in the production of Non-polluted Agricultural Products at that time, and it was also a soil purifier for both medicine and fertilizer. Lime nitrogen has two layers of effect of soil disinfection and fertilization, so it is widely used in vegetable cultivation area.

Effect 1. Application of lime nitrogen can improve soil structure, suppress the occurrence of diseases and insect pests, and then improve vegetable quality and output value.

The second effect is that lime nitrogen contains more than 38% calcium, which can meet the needs of plant growth for calcium, especially for calcium-loving plants.

Third, lime nitrogen releases slowly to nitrogen, and ammonium nitrogen formed by lime nitrogen differentiation is not easy to lose in the soil. The fertilizer effect period can reach 3-4 months. It can manage the demand for nitrogen fertilizer for vegetable crops in early growth period, reduce the application of chemical nitrogen fertilizer, and reduce the pollution of nitrate content in agricultural products to groundwater.

Fourth, lime nitrogen can differentiate calcium hydroxide in soil, neutralize acid soil, prevent crop calcium deficiency, reduce the occurrence of fruit physiological diseases, such as tomato umbilical cord rot, cabbage dry heartburn, etc., lime nitrogen can also add fruit and vegetable storability.

Fifth, lime nitrogen can promote the differentiation of organic matter such as straw in compost.
