Application of Lime Nitrogen

 Method 1. Cyanamide and dicyandiamide, the central products of lime nitrogen differentiation, have the effects of disinfection, pest control and disease prevention. Immediately after the rainy season, plough the protected soil at high temperature, and apply 70-100 kg of lime nitrogen and 600-1200 kg of straw per mu of cultivated soil. Irrigate after the border, cover the transparent plastic film, close the greenhouse, and keep the greenhouse closed for 20-30 days. 

It can control various soil-borne diseases and underground pests, especially fungal diseases, such as Sclerotinia sclerotiorum of lettuce, stem rot of pea, root swelling, retting, soft rot of cruciferous vegetables, Fusarium Wilt and wilt of spinach, etc. The control effect of cruciferous vegetable root swollen disease can reach more than 95%, and the yield of Chinese cabbage can be increased by 33-42%. Lime nitrogen disinfection method has the advantages of good effect, low cost, no residue, safe operation and so on, but it also has the shortcomings of long time. 

Method 2. Apply it before transplanting rice seedlings, plough paddy fields roughly and insist on water depth of 3-4 cm. After 3-4 days, apply 13.3-20 kg of lime nitrogen per mu evenly. After 3-4 days, cultivate the soil, but it is necessary to adjust the amount of nitrogen fertilizer. 

It can also be used after rice harvest. After harvest, irrigation should be kept at a depth of 3-4 cm, and lime nitrogen should be sprayed 13.3-20 kg per mu evenly. Fushou snail died after soaking in 300 mg lime-nitrogen solution for 3 days. However, it is necessary to strictly control the outflow of field water in order to avoid affecting the growth of animals and plants in adjacent fields and waters.
Method 3. After rice harvest, spraying 26.7-33.3 kg/mu of lime nitrogen in paddy fields can break the dormancy of barnyard grass seeds, make them germinate and grow before winter, and use the low temperature in winter to make them die naturally. This is a useful way to alleviate the harm of barnyard grass. 

Method 4. Grape shoots (dormant buds) can be sprouted 3 weeks earlier and harvested 15 days earlier by applying 20% lime nitrogen solution. Great economic benefits have been achieved. 

Method 5. Lime nitrogen can also promote fruit branch germination and asexual propagator (tuber, corm, etc.) germination, so as to make crops mature early and improve economic benefits. If the potato seed potato is immersed in 15% lime nitrogen solution for 5 minutes, it can germinate 1-2 weeks earlier, and the number of germination is more, the output value is higher. 

The cultivated asparagus could be irrigated with 20 g of lime nitrogen dissolved in 2 kg of water (about 33.3 kg/mu) in the middle and late December, and could germinate regularly after 12 days. 

Method 6. The initial flowering period of pear trees could be advanced by about 10 days, the germination rate could be improved more than twice, and the average number of flowers in inflorescence could be improved. The optimum concentration of lime nitrogen solution was 16.7%.
